I love the photo that Desire was able to take, which was one of the reasons I bought it other than good price. But after using for 1+ year, it was quite disappointing to find too many uncontrollable process running in the phone. I am quite technical but there were no available means to kill the processes. I have to charge it every night in order to use during the day for half of the day. Then need to charge again in the afternoon. If I do not charge the phone before goes to bed, even 50% battery will run dry the next day without even being used overnight. Before HTC Desire I was an IPhone user. I'm switching back to IPhone.

It was a gift. ATT store had hard time to make it work to receive data. Then it worked fine. But it stopped ringing after 1 month. People were complaining that I was not hearing their calls. Battery life is worse than any phone.Also battery is not easily removable. You may break the door if you do nt ay attention when removing. You cannot browse the Internet .It is slowwww because it is not 3G. It is a nice looking phone and nice screen but it is not worth more than $100.00 ( similar ATT Inspire) .

This phone is amazing there is so much you can do with it. The phone first came with Android 1.6, but I later updated to Android 2.1 and it made it alot faster and better to work with. The battery life on this phone is not so great it does not last a whole day. You can also use this phone as a mp3 player and it works really well. It is not as fast as the newer phones and when I download certain apps it slows down. The internet browser is awesome and you can watch flash based websites. The google apps work really well and I love the google calendar that syncs with the google calendar on my PC. It is an awesome phone, but it is not as fast as newer phones out there and the I wished the battery life was better on it.

I bought this phone because it was advertised as having wifi calling and portable hotspot. It does have a thing that say hotspot but it wont turn on. So after T-Mobile replacing the phone twice I finally contacted HTC only to find out that this phone does not support hotspot. So basically I wasted alot of money on a phone that doesnt do what it said it would. Glad my contract is up in a few months so I can find something else. It's an ok phone otherwise but has no memory even with an SD Card because alot of things wont save to the card. It wants to keep them on the phone for some reason. Also the battery doesnt stay charged all day. All in all, I would not buy this phone.

This phone didn't last no time no more than 3 weeks. I had to Power it on and off for it to work. The touch screen wasn't working properly. I had to use the house button and back button on the inside. Eventually the touch screen went out completely. I was unable to use the phone (period) I had text messages I couldn't check and calls I couldn't answer. This phone suck, I wouldn't recommend it to no one. Now that I think about it I had one of these phones once before and kept having problems out of it. I feel the Seller knew this phone was defective when they put it online.

After 3-4 different BlackBerry models, my wife and I decided we wanted to get something that was a little more versatile. The Amaze had the latest 1.5 GHz Dual Core Processor with 1 GHz of RAM, an 8 mp camera and was T-Mobile's top of the line Android so we chose the best of the best! As it stated, it was an extremely fast phone with plenty of versatility but... What we didn't anticipate was the battery life that it takes to do all of those really cool things compared to our old, battery miser BlackBerries! Once we learned how to manage our battery life by turning off options we weren't using - and bought external battery chargers to keep with us so that we didn't have to just pretend like our phone could do this and that but never use them to make batteries last... WE LOVE THEM!! We tried LG G2x's before these and they were junk compared to HTC's technology and user friendly layout!!

I love this phone. Liked it so much I bought a second for my wife! I was going to get a One series, but the non-removable battery wasn't an option as I travel so much and need to swap when needed. Both the 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras are great. I use the front for Skype when traveling and the wife loves the quality over my laptop's built in camera. The dedicated camera and video buttons are a nice feature compared to my old Desire. Only real fault is the button lights on the home row bleed into the screen area. Now T-Mobile needs to hurry with the Ice Cream Sandwich update!

Mine shuts off and restarts, on average, about 3 times a day. No good help from HTC, so I'm just counting the days until I can get rid of it. The physical design is irritiating too: protruding screen, full back comes off, and it's difficult to hold. However, the camera and screen resolution are nice. Overall, avoid it if at all possible. Lots of problems you won't get any help with.

Before i bought this i thoroughly read the reviews available on Amazon at that point which helped me get what i was really looking for: a 32GB Memory Quard core, etc.This phone is totally awesome. Speed is great, graphics excellent, sound is simply put..... a real bad boy! I am on a world travel now and i dont miss my camera even a bit. Great integration into any number of devices and storage you may have plus good speed for VPN connections. The battery could have been better so get yourself a mobile power source especially if you are using a lot of the mobile features. No SD slots so go for the 32GB if you need a lot of space and get a BT storage device if absolutely necessary else simply make a selection of files available offline as and when you see the need.

Used skype and it as a hotspot for 4 other devices at times. The guy at the vodafone store did like 5 different things to settings to get to work so it is not very simple to know how to set up. this works in the states on the T-mobile network but I have not been able to get it to work on at&t network. Not sure why a real bummer as I just wanted a 1 time sim card data and t mobile is monthly charge. camera and several workings and feeling of phone surpassed my Motorola Bionic. Camera better than bionic too.

I hated my iPhone 4S. I loved my Droid X and turned it back on and gave away my iPhone to a friend. My Droid was old and acting slow so i ordered this phone. I still have over a year to renew my Verizon contract, so this phone worked perfect. I don't like that the technology is older, but it serves it's purpose. I like that most times it doesn't take forever to turn on. It turns right on and I can use it right away. i will stick to a droid phone or something similar when I renew with Verizon, if I stay with them.

When I brought the phone to my local Verizon store, they basically told me that it is an extremely common problem with the Incredible 2. After only having the replacement phone for 3 months, the same problem happened and I have to get ANOTHER replacement!! This is 2 replacment phones and I'm less than a year into my contract! First off this phone is awesome! Great design! love the features! Nice keyboard for large hands. Touch screen gets a A+. Track ball in very nice as well. And the Android operating system is outstanding. It mite not be as fast as some of the new phones or android OS's but its still pretty quick considering your connection speed. Easy to set up and use. WiFi works great. No problem with hooking up to AT&T, even connected and registered to the data network by its self. Witch isn't common with unlocked phones. This is a steal for the price. One of the best built and design cell phones i have ever used.

I bought the phone. It arrived on time. The phone has a T-mobile logo on it. I placed my ATT SIM card with data plan in the phone but could not pass the google activation. The error message is "can not find network". I borrowed a T-mobile SIM card with data plan from a friend. Then I could finish the google activation. Swapped back to my ATT SIM card, I could make a phone call, but still could not use 3G service. Browsed on Internet, got following info "AT$T 3G network works on 850/1900 MHz bands. The myTouch 3G is only compatible with the 900/1700/2100 MHz 3G bands which means it will work with T-Mobile's 1700/2100 3G network. and the european 900/2100Mhz 3G network. But not AT$T." So I returned the phone.

I have used a Palm Treo, a two Blackberries, and two Samsung Android smart phones before trying the HTC One X+. The form factor was great. Super slim, super light, solid and durable. I could not be happier. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy HTC's implementation of Android. I found rooting the device way more complicated than rooting a Samsung device. Finally, the nail in the coffin, I found the sound volume to be too low when I tried to go on a run. I could not hear the music. Whether or not the "Beats by Dre" software was turned on or off, I could not hear the music. Weeks before, I was jogging with my Samsung Skyrocket to the same tracks and could definitely hear the music and no one else. I returned it for an S4 and feel much better about the switch.

I have had it for over an year now. Bought it unlocked. using it with t-mobile networks. Is loaded with Cyanogen Mod 7 ver 7.1.0. Use about 100+ apps on it. With few clock speed settings, in general wi-fi usage, gps and switching between apps, multi tasking has been very impressive. No speed issues out of a single processor running at over 1.2Ghz all the time. Very stable. No hardware issues, key issues or button issues. Very sturdy product. Highly recommended. 3 members in my family across the world uses it. I have no plans to switch over to dual core phones as its not required. Plays medium intensive games, angry birds and tons of other games with ease. I have never seen a lag. Is my official GPS system, multimedia player, remote browsers, wi-fi hotspot and excellent Netflix and hulu plus viewer. What more can I say?

I got this phone about a year ago and had loved it! I had a few minor problems that I was able to resolve, but recently this phone has been nothing but a big problem! I don't use very many apps on it nor has it been damaged in any way. I've had to do 2 factory resets on the device recently. It has repeatedly crashed on me in the middle of doing something simple like a text message, it has significant lag time in doing anything, and now there is zero sound from the speaker! It doesn't play sound from a video, a call, a notification, an alarm, nothing! All it does is vibrate. My cell carrier is replacing it for me, fortunately, but I was surprised that these are not available as the exchange piece. I had to get an upgraded phone. That says to me that they know this phone has issues! I know phones don't last forever, but it should at least last for a year!

Although i didnt buy this item here i just want to make sure all the customers are aware of the QC issue in this phone. Basically there are two types of manufacturers for M4G - Taiwan and Chinese. The taiwan version mobile is having very bad screen means colors fade out when you change the viewing angle and the chinese version where the screen is brilliant. Also the chip used in this mobile is 50/50 chance of getting bad one which will become a brick phone if you root it . I have bought this phone and now worried on how to return my Taiwan version phone. Please go for Atrix 4g (Iam not a fan/employee of motorola my friend has one atrix which is like a champ:) ) ..its the best phone you can get now :) Please browse xda forum/android central about M4G before buying this item.

I test drove several phones in the span of one month trying to find the right one. Sadly, I don't think it's out there (not an iPhone fan). This phone is nice. Big screen, 4G, user friendly. Unfortunately, you almost always have to have it plugged in. Battery sucks. Better prepare yourself for a car charger, an extended battery pack or an extra power cord for work.

When video is playing or an audio podcast if u turn the phone to landscape view or back to portrait view it will skip. By skip I mean it goes onto the next podcast. It does the same thing when I listen to Pandora radio I.e. Changes on it's own to the next song without my hitting the next advance button. I have tried shutting off the accelerometer but his has not helped at all. I a convinced this is one of the bad batches that HTC made. Or I at least had the impression HTC made good phones.

I started to have problems after 4-5 months of use; it first started with the phone's speakers which was fixed buy an authorized party fairly cheaply. Then came the more recent problem (12 months of use, phone was never dropped or sustained any physical damage) where the phone no matter what I do constantly vibrates. I bought this from FGS TRADING, INC through Amazon and it was clearly marked to have no warranty but I am beginning to think that the phone wasn't new and possibly refurbished. This is without a doubt, the best smartphone I have ever owned. Its fast, sexy, and amazing. The screen is drop dead gorgeous, all colors are bright and crisp. And it's a HUGE screen. It's fast and responsive, runs any and all apps quick as lightening. the camera is AMAZING, especially for a phone. You'll find yourself falling in total love with this phone, as I have. The only downside to it so far is that it gets a little warm if you're playing a game, but I understand that's probably because it's so powerful. First thing I noticed when I opened the UPS box was that it came in a Tmobile Box. It is not the unbranded Z710E version Advertised. It has Tmobile software. I'm not sure if they opened the box to unlock the device, or if it was used, but when I got it, the seal was broken, and the box has obviously been opened. There wasn't even a plastic screen thing to peel off. It is not the Z710E version. This is a great phone but I am highly unsatisfied that it has Tmobile crap on it and the tmobile logo. I do not want to see tmobile each time i turned the phone on.

I bought it for my husband for Christmas and it only lasted him a couple of months. The ringer volume broke all of a sudden. The ring volume is turned up all the way in settings, however there is no sound when ringing. When I googled the problem it seems like it's a very common issue. I didn't have any insurance on it so too bad for me. I went to get it checked and I was told it needed new processor. I 'd rather buy a different phone than put more money in this one. It's not worth it.

Windows Phone 7 is undoubtedly the best software I've ever seen on a phone. I owned an iPhone and know Android on the HTC Evo well. Those are both good phones, but the quality of the HD7 and it's software eclipse them. The integration with Windows Live and the cloud is astounding. Xbox Live and Zune add multimedia and gaming to a whole new level for a phone. The huge screen (and kickstand) is brilliant for accessing pictures, music and video on the cloud. Everyone of my friends who see it are amazed at how good looking and fun it is to use - I think some of them may be switching soon.

Surfing the web is easy. One said bluetooth is a joke but we never had any problem with ours, syncs seamlessly with our Chevys. Very responsive to the touch, better than the Iphone on that aspect and the screen is so clear and wide and it makes browsing thru our pics is so enjoyable. The pictures move fluidly over each other.
It's main limitation is not bec its htc, I admit I enjoyed this phone better than the Iphone...it's weakness is bec its a windows phone with less apps available. But that isn't our big concern. We got Ipads and Ipods to play apps. We mainly use this or calls, texts, facebook and surfing the web.

The first time the screen just stopped working for no reason at all and the second time the phone wouldn't charge for no reason at all. After spending $100 on the phone and $125 to replace it every time it broke I finally gave up and got a cheap pre paid phone hooked up to my plan. So glad I did.

But when I had gotten my next credit card bill there was no money credited back to me. This is the worst experience I have had with amazon. Do not buy.

I don't need to update Facebook every 5 minutes and there is enough free wifi around that I can get Internet pretty much anywhere anyway. As far as the phone itself goes, I thought I was going to have trouble liking win8 after being in an iPhone the last 4 years, but I actually like it better than my old iPhone. There aren't as many apps out there yet, but there are a lot of good ones and I imagine more are being worked on and being released often. Bye for now iPhone and expensive contracts, I'm 100% satisfied.

First of all I love this phone. Windows 8 easy to use. Not many apps but enough for me. The problem is, if you get one from anywhere but the US there is no 4G on the phone. I use ATT but can only get 3G. The phone I received was branded Telestra not ATT. It was unlocked and worked fine but be aware of this.

I purchased this phone not to long ago, I have to admit its a pretty good phone. Its thin and lightweight and unique looking. I love how you can personalize almost everything on the phone. It's super quick and doesn't freeze, but the market doesn't have much games and apps. I know that this is my fault but when I was getting out of my car the phone fell and shattered. It probably only fell less then two feet. Now I've had other phones and they've had a lot worst falls then 2 feet and the screen didnt shatter, getting a small scratch at the most. The design of the screen can use a lot of improvement. The screen slightly curves out and is made of pure glass. Glass bits were also falling out of the screen too. I don't know about you but I don't think that's suppose to happen. Overall it's a pretty good phone but the design could definitely use improvement.

I have been using this product now for 1.5 years. I have rooted it and installed CM7 (Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread) with which you can move almost any application to the SD card. So the aforementioned memory issue is really not a problem. If you are a power user and comfortable with rooting and installing ROMs I would highly recommend it. What I most like is the form factor since I really do not like to carry a big smartphone in my pocket.

I've owned a number of phones over the years and I've never had a phone that breaks so easily as the HTC Aria does. I am now on my third one in seven months, after the screens of first two broke when they fell. I'm not the kind of person who is careless with their phones and I rarely drop them; the second one even had a silicon case on it. However, both broke on the first fall on a hard surface. The issue appears to be that the edge of the screen is exposed so any fall in which the phone lands on the edge will cause it to break. The only solution seems to be to get a bulky hard case for the phone, which kind of defeats one of the reasons for choosing the Aria, which is to get a smartphone that is relatively small. Otherwise, I am mostly happy with the functionality and performance of the phone. Too bad HTC made such an obvious mistake in the design.

I chose this item because it was similar to a previous phone I had, was compatible with my plan and was compact so I would be less likely to drop it. The only thing that is a problem is texting cause the board is small. It is easier to landscape the screen to type and text. However, I prefer a qwerty keypad to the touchscreen so others may not find this a problem. Yet, obviously this has been noted as a problem so HTC provides a lot of suggestions when typing to help with identifying errors.

Unforntally HTC stopped all software support for it so there will be no more updates to it, and if your lucky you wont encounter the dreaded home button(Helicoptering) issue. Overall: don't recommend this phone to anyone, you might as well go for the ONE.

I like Google and everything they are adding, but too many camera issues. The camera is stuck in self portrait now. I have rebooted it, updated it and everything else. It will not scan bar codes and says there is no forward facing camera. I gave it a 3 stars at first and got more pissed off when I started typing.

I always wait to review things until I've had them at least a month. I bought it as a Father's Day gift for husband and he loves it. We are partial though as we gave up Apple products a couple years ago and are now 100% loyal Windows/Microsoft fans. But if the phone was crap, believe me I would say it so you would be spared the purchase. The only thing is he isn't able to open up pictures. He fully believes that is an issue with him not figuring out something and not a default with the phone.

I ordered up and paid a hefty fee for what was advertised as an unlocked international version of the HTC One X. Global Mobiles sent me an unlocked One X that had a T-Mobile Germany software build. The phone had a T-Mobile boot up screen and was full of T-Mobile crapware in German. If you are selling a real unlocked international HTC One X then it shouldn't have any carrier branding whatsoever. Luckily enough I flashed a custom rom shortly after but it was quite annoying to not receive what I paid (proabably too much) for.

The total space was more like 9g + 2g... The phone is unlocked, but it's definitely not the international version. It came with AT&T branding, not the HTC one, so I'm not sure what happened to this phone before I received it. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying this, it's probably not going to be what you expect for the hefty price. I don't get 4G--even when it tells me "4G." There's nothing I can do about this now, sadly, but for anyone else who wants to buy a phone I recommend trying to find a store instead

I have always been a HTC fan until this phone. There is a known problem with the SIM card tray. There is a defect in the design causing many phones to have SIM card errors. I am on my 3rd phone in 10 month and now HTC denies the problem and refuses to replace it. If you search HTC one X SIM error you will see pages of reports on this problem. If it wasn't for AT&T admitting the problem and offering an early upgrade, I would be stuck with paying full price to replace this phone. I will never by an HTC product again nor do I recommend them to anybody. Do yourself a favor and search HTC One X sim card error before considering this phone

I have gone through 3 replacements of this phone! It is NOT a good phone! When you get a text, it sends the same text at LEAST 2 times, the touch screen is okay, but after about a month it becomes laggy, the battery life is very bad, it heats up really fast! And for me, the first time I got the phone, about 2 months later, it wouldn't let me call people! I would press the dial pad and nothing would show up. Not a good phone! I am doing ou a favor...DO NOT GET IT!

I got my HTC phone after At&t screwed me over with my smartphone and my data service's. unable to pay the money to getout of there damn contract i decided to dumb my phone down to a "basic" phone, and i must say i LOVE this phone. To me it is just like having a smartphone except i do not get the App market. but the internet is great on it, the music player works just like on my old HTC inspire. overall for $100 this phone isn't that bad. it actually reminds me of the original iphone.

Just to clarify: THIS ISNT AN ANDROID PHONE. It isn't even considered a smart phone, so you won't be forced into a $30 data package. considering it isn't a smart phone, it is a great phone for what it is. Ignore the reviews that say this phone is unstable. With the update (google HTC Freestyle Update), the OS is stable and the multiple message issue is pretty much resolved. The phone is packed with features, considering it isn't a smart phone. The touch screen is just as good as an iphone, and the keyboard has an advanced autocorrect feature. Overall, it's a great phone for what it is.
